Published schedules currently show up to 25 nonstop destinations from Luxor, including five domestic airports and 20 international destinations in ten countries. Only a fraction of those routes operates in any one month. The route map peaks between late October and April, when most European seasonal services operate. It becomes much smaller in summer, led by frequent Cairo flights and Gulf routes, with a handful of other services continuing on selected dates. Egypt
Cairo is the core domestic route, with several nonstop flights every day and a flight time of about 70 minutes. Air Cairo also lists direct flights to Abu Simbel, Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh, although some operate only during selected seasons. Edelweiss Air appears on seasonal Sharm el-Sheikh schedules, while Neos lists limited service to Marsa Alam. The Hurghada route is currently scheduled from October to March, but travellers should confirm their exact date because it has changed several times in forward schedules.
United Kingdom
Luxor has direct links with London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Manchester. easyJet and TUI Airways serve Gatwick, TUI Airways operates from Manchester during the winter season, and EgyptAir also lists a seasonal London Heathrow service due to begin in August 2026. Exact operating months vary by airline and season.
Italy
Italy currently has four published nonstop routes from Luxor. Milan Malpensa is served by Air Cairo, easyJet and Neos, while Air Cairo and EgyptAir fly to Rome Fiumicino. Air Cairo also serves Verona, and Euroairlines lists seasonal flights to Catania.
France and the Rest of Europe
France has four published routes from Luxor. Air Cairo and easyJet serve Paris Charles de Gaulle, Transavia flies to Paris Orly, and easyJet lists seasonal services to Lyon and Nantes. Germany has direct flights to Cologne-Bonn with Air Cairo and Düsseldorf with TUI fly Deutschland. EgyptAir lists seasonal services to Barcelona and Madrid, while Edelweiss Air serves Zurich and Aegean Airlines flies to Athens. Most of these routes operate seasonally, although published schedules currently show selected Milan Malpensa and Paris Charles de Gaulle services continuing throughout the year.
Turkey and the Gulf
Pegasus flies seasonally to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen, with the current schedule running from October to March. Jazeera Airways operates the Kuwait City route throughout the year, while Air Cairo and Nesma Airlines list seasonal flights to Jeddah from July to October. These Gulf routes account for a larger share of Luxor’s international traffic during the quieter summer months.
